Dignity
Every adult deserves to be treated with respect while working toward a more stable future.
Get StartedAbout Twelve28
Twelve28 Care Solutions is a Montgomery-based independent shared-housing program for adults moving through housing instability, reentry, discharge transitions, fixed-income challenges, and other periods of change.

Where stability meets support.
Our story
“There is enough opportunity for all of us to eat, grow, and create something meaningful.”
Twelve28 Care Solutions began with an interest in real estate, but it grew into something much deeper: a calling to create safe places where people can rebuild their lives with dignity, structure, and genuine support.
My first step into real estate was through operating an Airbnb. That business ended in less than a year because of issues with the property owner, and I was forced to shut it down. Although that experience was disappointing, it changed the way I thought about ownership and opportunity. I realized that I did not simply want to rent someone else’s property—I wanted to become an owner and eventually create opportunities for other people who were trying to build something of their own.
I have always believed that there is enough opportunity for all of us to succeed. One person’s progress does not have to come at the expense of someone else’s. There is enough for all of us to eat, grow, and create something meaningful.
As I approached the beginning of 2025, I found myself praying for God to use me in service to others. I have always had a heart for helping people, even while understanding that I cannot help everyone. Over time, the connection between housing, service, and purpose became clear. I saw an opportunity to create a safe place for people to land—not simply a bed, but a place where someone would genuinely care about what happened next.
That is the heart of Twelve28.
The name Twelve28 comes from a date that represents commitment, family, and lasting love in my own life. Today, it also represents the kind of lasting commitment we want participants and community partners to experience through our work.
The cost of living continues to rise, and safe housing is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. At the same time, many people are trying to rebuild after homelessness, reentry, job loss, hospitalization, family disruption, financial hardship, or other real-life challenges. Some do not need someone to take over their lives. They simply need a safe place, clear expectations, practical guidance, and someone who believes they are still capable of moving forward.
I understand that because I am a real person who has experienced real-life problems. I know what it feels like when life does not go according to plan. I also know that one difficult chapter should not determine the rest of someone’s story.
People deserve second chances. Sometimes they need a third or fourth chance. They deserve the opportunity to learn, regroup, and try again without being permanently defined by what they have experienced or the decisions they made during an unstable period.
At Twelve28, compassion does not mean operating without standards. We combine care with structure, accountability, and clear expectations. We want every participant to feel respected, but we also want them to recognize their own responsibility in building the life they want. We care about people, we work toward results, and we want to see every participant strive—not simply survive.
Our goal is to offer people the opportunity they may never have known existed: a safe place to pause, rebuild, reconnect with resources, and begin moving forward again. We are building something we hope will remain in the community for generations to come.
Twelve28 is a constant reminder that the community still cares. Any one of us can experience an unexpected setback, and none of us succeeds entirely alone. When stability is combined with genuine support, people are given room to see new possibilities for their lives.
That is where stability meets support. That is Twelve28 Care Solutions.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide safe, structured independent shared housing while helping adults transition toward long-term stability and independence.
Our model
Participants must be able to manage their own personal care and daily living without hands-on caregiving or medical supervision.
Participants agree to follow house rules, meet payment responsibilities, and contribute to a respectful living environment.
Core Housing provides the foundation. Enhanced Transitional support may be arranged when an agency funds additional coaching, coordination, or reporting.
What guides us
Every adult deserves to be treated with respect while working toward a more stable future.
Clear expectations, consistency, and accountability help create a safe shared-home environment.
We focus on real-life needs such as employment readiness, budgeting, digital access, and resource navigation.
Housing is the foundation. The goal is greater independence, confidence, and long-term stability.
